Welcome ! Here is the first "Weekly Photo" for your view. (You can click on the photo to see a larger image in a pop-up window.) Some of you have visited the Taj Mahal, many of you have not, but most of you (if not all) have seen pictures of it. Would you recognize the Taj Mahal from this picture ? This is a super wide-angle photo shot using a 17mm lens, standing pretty close to this architectural wonder. The dome that is so familiar is almost invisible from this low angle, but the arches which are equally beautiful, are more prominent. Here is another, more "conventional" photo of the Taj. Both the pictures were taken in January, 2001 during a totally unplanned trip to Agra. Hope you enjoyed the pictures.
