Last August I took a weekend trip to Mt. Baker area in Washington state
with a group of other photographers.
It is an area of great scenic beauty, with dense forest of tall evergreen trees.
Here are some images of those alpine forests from that trip.

Here is a picture of a mountain peak (Mount Shukshan, 9127 ft) surrounded by evergreen forests
and reflected in one of the many high-altitude lakes in that area.

Within only couple of days, we experienced a variety of weather ranging from
dense fog, overcast sky with drizzling rain, morning mist,
sunshine through broken clouds, to bright Summer sun.
