Last weekend I visited an Art Car Show. An artist's paintbrush needs a canvas to paint on.
In this case the canvas is very unique; it is the body of a car. I enjoyed the show very much, and
also found something rather interesting - a large number
of the cars on the show were the famous Volkswagen Beetle.
The Volkswagen Beetle has been produced over many decades since 1938.
Formal name of that car was Volkswagen Type I (and later VW 1200, 1300 and 1500);
Beetle or Bug was a nickname given by public.
It happens to be the longest and most produced automobile for a single design.
Here are some of the pictures that I took at the show. They were taken with a 12-24mm wide-angle zoom
lens on Canon Rebel digital SLR camera. Enjoy.
