Same place; different time

If you find a particular place photographically interesting, probably it is worth going back there again. It is more than likely that the second time you will be rewarded with a totally different appearence of the same environment.

But that is not why I visited this place repeatedly. This is a part of the University of Washington campus called Memorial Way. Those trees along the road were planted in honor of members of the university community who died in World War I. The house where I lived was just ten minutes walk straight down that road, and so I have walked and biked under that canopy of leaves countless number of times during the twelve years I was associated with UW.

Back to the point. If you visited the place in Summer, revisit it in Fall or Winter. If it was a foggy the first time, come back again when it is sunny. If it was during daytime, come back at night. Warm morning light, dull cloudy weather, mystic twilight, experience it all.

You’ll love it.
