Images that are rich in many different colors are definitely interesting and create a lot of impact, but a color photo that has the hue of only one color (besides black) in it can do quite well also. I call them Monocolor images. Here are couple of examples. The colors in all these images are real and have not been altered in any way. The picture of the black swans almost falls into that category. I said almost, because although the color is predominantly green, the bright red beak of the bird defintely creates a highlight.
